Take Me Away to Paradise
I just returned from one of the most relaxing weekends. Friends and I traveled to Vieques Island, located off the southeast coast of Puerto Rico in the Caribbean. W Hotels Worldwide has unveiled W Retreat & Spa – the brand’s first retreat within North America. Patricia Urquiola’s design style is unbelievable. I wanted to put everything in my suitcase!
This small island has a lot to offer. Our favorites were the food and bio bay night tour. We had fish tacos and crab fritters at Duffy’s. Our bio bay tour (Abe’s is the best)was from 7-9pm at night. It was my first time kayaking in the moonlight. The wake from our boats created a glowing, neon light. I have never seen anything like it. The pictures do not do it justice. Trust me. You have to see it to believe it. If you ever get the chance to visit Vieques, GO!
