I wanted to put everything in my suitcase!

This small island has a lot to offer.  Our favorites were the food and bio bay night tour.  We had fish tacos and crab fritters at Duffy’s.   Our bio bay tour (Abe’s is the best)was from 7-9pm at night.  It was my first time kayaking in the moonlight.  The wake from our boats created a glowing, neon light.  I have never seen anything like it.  The pictures do not do it justice.  Trust me.  You have to see it to believe it.  If you ever get the chance to visit Vieques, GO!

The party includes a young engaged couple forced to confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better.  It stars Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams.  Here is a little more about the movie:

“Gil and Inez travel to Paris as a tag-along vacation on her parents’ business trip. Gil is a struggling writer and falls in love with the city and thinks they should move there after they get married, but Inez does not share his romantic notions of the city or the idea that the 1920s was the golden age. When Inez goes off dancing with her friends, Gil takes a walk at midnight and discovers what could be the ultimate source of inspiration for writing. Gil’s daily walks at midnight in Paris could take him closer to the heart of the city but further from the woman he’s about to marry.”

Changs, where the lettuce wraps are a must (or something is wrong with you).  The last day everyone at our table enjoyed the cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory.  Once we came out of our sugar coma we went to my new favorite store, Paper Skyscraper.

I went once before with a good friend of mine at Christmas.  You could not even get in the door-a good sign for restaurants and stores.  You can get anything from squirrel underpants(you’ve got to see it to believe it) to a beautiful coffee table book.  Shall I tell you my shopping list???

How fabulous is this? Notice the consistency and the fact that because of that it reads clean. This kitchen was to die for and I was inspired to be a collector and a dreamer of the sleek life I perceived this person to have. OK, OK so I can dream and pretend with the best of them.

Look how beautiful. So many beautiful treasures not to mention check out the reflection. Europe is like Whole Foods to me. I can walk through Whole Foods and pretend I am a chef and that I cook. Everything looks and smells so good. It is fun to imagine. In europe I can be simple and sophisticated and reflect the view beyond the treasure.
