A southern jewel

One of the jewels in the crown of the southern garden, the camellia is our bridge to Spring. They don’ t last long but they float well.  I recommend getting a silver tray and filling it as high as you can with water.  Add a stem or two of a woody green like pyracantha and the flowers will stay on the top and last longer and still look amazing.
