2009 Coastal Living Idea Cottage
The cottage in Ion that Angie Hranowsky has just finished is the bomb and you should not miss it. I have not seen it myself but Caroline Nelson, my PR manager, went to photograph it yesterday. The shots are great and it is obvious that talent can not be hidden. Way to go Angie! Great [...]
Cocktails anyone?
Summer cocktails…bucket of ice. White skirt and a little tan. Vodka tonic with a lime sounds nice. Fab glasses from the 60’s are in the store now! Get them while it’s hot!
Up close and personal
Just thought you might want a closer look.
Tattoo man
Buyers, buyers everywhere and all the tattoos were all sold out!
Art and a cup of coffee
I saw this painting from afar. It is eye catching and the colors are incredible. When I got closer I knew we had to have it. The pull to have it be mine is always a good sign for me but I have to go through the mantra of “Muffie…you’re in the business…you can’t take everything home with you.” [...]
Travel + Leisure ranks Charleston #4
Charleston was recently ranked as one of the top destinations in the US and Canada by the readers of Travel+Leisure magazine. The 3 cities ahead of Charleston were New York, San Francisco and Quebec City. Nothing could be finer…

I even miss the puppy and the kittens. I may not have any furniture left but hey…check out the back of the truck…just kidding…I promise not to hog the buy [...]
The Beverly Hillbillies
Man it is cold up here! I did not pack the right clothes. A Maine sweat shirt would be righteous right now.
Packing is not my forte.
The truck looks like Jed Clampett packed it. We are finding great pieces and some modern has revealed itself. Beautiful lamps and chairs galore…(I have a thing for chairs).
A lobster [...]
On the road again
All packed up (should have slept in the truck…nah…) and on the road to see vendors and friends from the business. Once we arrived, the adrenalin had worn off and we couldn’t make sentences…Ok, Ok I could not make sentences. During the next few days we will roam through two states, 6 warehouses and hopefully [...]
Oh the people you see…
We saw some of the most amazing people on this leg of our trip. Who knew tattoos and clergy would all be at the market sifting through the junk in search of a diamond! I love this part of my job!
