Pretty in pink

The camellias are in bloom now in charleston and this pink was just too good to not share. I love camellias because for me, they are the bridge between the last of Winter and the hope for Spring.

More than meets the eye

Wine, flowers, tea lights?  How pretty would a set of these be on a dining table with white gardenias in them and candles all around?  I can’t wait until summer.

Horses and History

I thought in honor of the Kentucky Derby I would show you some pictures of my favorite horses.  The first is a painting I have in my kitchen.  It makes me think of the horses you see in the fields when you fly into Colorado….only speckled below in the snow.
