In my house the antique chairs are really cat beds…or so they think. The red antique chinoiserie chair is our latest kitten Booger’s favorite spot.

Gardens in Heaven
When I was a little girl my family use to take us to Brookgreen Garden. It was a forced march for me since Myrtle Beach was not far away and I was thinking roller coasters, not bronze statues. I went Back to Brookgreen this summer with my camera and new eyes. This is a beautiful garden deep in the South and surely, one of the many gardens in heaven.
Winter Wonderland
I am out in Colorado with my family. It is so beautiful here. The air is crisp and clean; the snow so beautiful. Last night we went tubing down one of the mountains. It felt good to laugh like a kid again….and for it to be ME to be saying to THEM “aww come on….let’s go down [...]
